During my time at Mighty I got the oportunity to be the compositing supervisor for the second season of Vampirina Ghoul Girls Rock! Definitely one of my favorite projects to date, mostly because I worked alongside some great people like Male Moreno (Line Producer), Sebastián Bravo (Animation Supervisor) and Rick Flores (Backgrounds Supervisor).
I also got to do some of my favorite kind of comp work, which is assembling virtual “sets” with 2D layers in 3D space and moving a camera through them to get some sweet, natural parallax. This technique fed nicely into the project’s art style so I leaned heavily into it when working on some shots, particularly the hallway shot in “Party in the Crypt”.
